Note:  This garment was designed with approximately 3-9" of ease.  The fronts don’t close and have quite a bit of overlap so the fit is very forgiving.  Please take this into consideration when selecting your size.

13(14-15-16-17-18-20) balls Berroco North Star (50 grs), #3002 Caribou

Corrections are in bold.

Frontbands/Collar:  With RS facing, using longer circular needle, beg at lower right front edge, pick up and knit 72 sts to right front marker, 42(44-46-48-50-52-54) sts along right front neck edge to raglan seam, 5 sts across top of right sleeve, pm, 22 sts across back neck edge, pm, 5 sts across top of left sleeve, 42(44-46-48-50-52-54) sts along left front neck edge to marker, pm, then 72 sts along left front edge – 260(264-268-272-276-280-284) sts.  Work even in Garter St, slipping markers, until band measures 4″, end on WS.

Short Rows: Row 1 (RS): Knit to second marker, sm, k6, w&t.

Row 2 (WS): Knit to second marker, sm, k6, w&t.

Row 3 (RS): Knit to second marker, sm, k6, pick up wrap, k6, w&t.

Row 4 (WS): Knit to second marker, sm, k6, pick up wrap, k6, w&t.

Working in this manner, work 6 sts more at each end 1(3-5-5-3-1-0) times more, then work 5(5-5-7-7-7-8) sts more at each end 5(3-1-1-3-5-6) times, picking up wrapped sts as you come to them.
