Necklace
With dpn’s, cast on 4 sts and work I-Cord as follows:
Row 1: * K4, do not turn work. Slide sts to beg of needle to work next row from RS. Rep from * once more.
Leaf: Inc Row 1 (RS): (K1, yo) 3 times, k1 – 7 sts. Purl 1 row.
Inc Row 2 (RS): K1, (yo, k1) 6 times – 13 sts. Purl 1 row.
Next Row (RS): K1, * yo twice, k1, rep from * across.
Following Row: Purl, dropping all yo’s from previous row – 13 sts. Knit 1 row, purl 1 row.
Dec Row 1 (RS): K1, (k2 tog) 6 times – 7 sts. Purl 1 row.
Dec Row 2 (RS): K1, (k2 tog) 3 times – 4 sts. Leaf has been completed. Working I-Cord and leaves in this manner, work I-Cord for 6 rows, then make leaf 4 times (a total of 5 leaves worked). Work I-Cord for 36 rows, then make leaf 4 times (a total of 9 leaves worked). Work I-Cord for 6 rows, then make leaf twice (a total of 11 leaves worked). Work I-Cord for 24 rows, then make leaf once (a total of 12 leaves worked). Work I-Cord for 2 rows. Fasten off.
